I quickly moved the USB to the back of my keyboard for ease of access. I solve this by exiting the game completely, unplugging USB, replugging USB, and reloading the game. Note: As soon as I make a change or even leave my saved game the wheel "resets". I was in a USB 3.0 port as well, I moved the USB to 2.0 and followed the steps above and that worked for me as well. Otherwise the wheel just locks back up and becomes unusable again. It's solved the stiffness issue however any changes i make to the settings within the game (I.E returning to the main menu and changing anything within the Options tab) requires me to close FarmSim17, unplug and reconnect my wheel, and boot back in again.
